[...This things are always all about destroying the world. Or something related to it. Naoki's expression changes, a little more wry than before as though he's remembering something.]

But... those Aeons can fight against it?

[testoffayth]

Once a summoner completes the pilgrimage and learns to use the Final Aeon, yes. But to do that, the others must all be earned.

[masakados]

Earned, huh. That's way different from what the summoner I know does.

[But it sounds, well, interesting enough.] But he doesn't summon anything like what you're talking about, he just summons demons.

[testoffayth]

Demons? [She says the word, but it feels unfamiliar coming from her lips. She's never heard that before.]

Forgive my ignorance, but I'm not sure...what that is.

Well, basically-- they're a kind of monster?

[Naoki pauses briefly, rubbing one of his palms against one of his tattooed cheeks.] I say 'they', but I'm partly one.

[Yuna isnt sure what to make of the statement, but shrugs.]

You don't seem like a monster. So, they can't all be bad.

[masakados]

Nah, they aren't. Not all of them.

[Pixie's a good demon, for one.] They don't think in the same way you or I might, but it's not impossible to understand them.

[testoffayth]

They sound a little like the Fayth, that way. Not...human. And not always friendly.

[masakados]

A lot of worlds seem to have some kind of creature like that, yeah. For demons, they want energy to get stronger and they fight to get it.

[He's leaving out some bits like: humans have the most so demons snack on their energy. But hey.]

Right. Something like that.

[A beat.]

Maybe...we should get moving though?

[masakados]

Oh, yeah, we probably should.

[They were standing around and chatting-- but if this is ViViD, they won't be able to go very far for now.] Want to go up the beach?
